Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware is a simple tool which aims to block ransomware. The package is lightweight, essentially just a Windows service, so can run alongside other Malwarebytes products or antivirus tools without difficulty.
The interface has a "Dashboard" tab where you can turn protection on or off, a Quarantine tab to delete any detected malware, an Exclusions tab to tell the program a particular application is safe, and that's it. You may never need to even look at any of this.
What's new/improved in build 0.9.18.807?
- Improved memory usage.
- Numerous enhanced ransomware protection techniques and remediation capabilities.
- Added ability for MBARW Business to define proxy settings during deployment via CLI.
- Fixed issue where MBARW is causing the system to boot into Temporary Profile.
- Fixed issue where MBARW crashes after reboot.
It's still a beta, and even Malwarebytes recommends "you to try it out in a non-production environment first".

AntiRansomware chrání počítač před vyděračským softwarem ( Ramsonware ), který zašifruje data na disku a žádá výkupné za jejich opětovné zpřístupnění.
Program firmy Abelsoft s názvem "AntiRansomware" je nabízen zdarma na DVD příloze časopisu CHIP č. 9/18 a opakovaně i na č. 10/18.
Program AntiRansomware běží na pozadí operačního systému Windows, kontroluje klíčové složky s uživatelskými daty (moje soubory, moje obrázky, moje videa, má hudba...) a zamezí podezřelým operacím s nimi. Pokud AntiRansomware detekuje škodlivý program při pokusu zašifrovat vaše data, zastaví jej a okamžitě restartuje počítač. Poté počítač naběhne v nouzovém režimu, kdy je ransomware neaktivní. Průvodce vysvětlí uživateli, co se stalo a poskytuje mu podrobné pokyny pro odstranění poškozených souborů a odvirování stroje.

Takto jsem nazval blog, v kterém chci stručně informovat ( nejen ) o programech a on-line službách, které mne zaujaly nabízenými funkcemi, uživatelských prostředím a designem. Nepůjde o recenze, ale o informace. Uváděné programy jsem si vyzkoušel, ale neprováděl jsem komplexní test. Proto upozorňuji, že za případný výskyt problémů při instalaci a provozu programů nemohu nést odpovědnost. Věřím, že v tomto weblogu najdete pro sebe něco zajímavého a užitečného. Arnošt Katolický.
